Superior Motion Motors ("SMM," "we," "us," or "our") operates the SMM mobile application and website (the "Service"), connecting passengers with professional drivers for luxury transportation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
When you create an account and use the Service, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
- Driver information: for drivers, vehicle details, license plate number, and driver application/verification documents
- Location data: real-time GPS location while a ride is active, used to match riders with nearby drivers, provide turn-by-turn navigation, and show live ride tracking
- Ride and payment information: pickup/drop-off addresses, ride history, fare amounts, and payment transaction details (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
- Ratings, notes, and support messages: ratings and feedback you give or receive, and any messages sent to our support team
- Device information: push notification tokens, device type, and app version, used to deliver ride status notifications
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the ride-booking, dispatch, and navigation features of the Service
- To match passengers with available drivers and calculate routes, fares, and ETAs
- To send notifications about ride status (e.g., driver assigned, driver arriving, ride complete)
- To process payments and driver payouts
- To maintain safety and trust through ratings, reports, and support
- To respond to support requests and improve our Service
Location Data
Location access is used only while you are actively using ride-related features — for example, while a driver is en route or a ride is in progress. Drivers' live location is shared with their currently matched passenger for the duration of that ride only. You can disable location permissions at any time in your device settings, though this will limit core functionality such as ride matching and navigation.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- Between a matched passenger and driver (name, photo, vehicle/plate, live location, contact via our business line) as needed to complete a ride
- With service providers that help us operate the Service, including Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and Stripe for payment processing
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of our users
Data Retention
We retain account, ride history, and rating information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and safety obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact section below).
Your Rights
- Access, update, or correct your account information at any time via the app's profile settings
- Request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by contacting us
- Opt out of push notifications via your device settings
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
